Treat Acne With Natural Treatment

Hello visitor! Thank you for taking the time to read this article.

Acne can lower your self-esteem and even cause depression. It is therefore important to treat acne sooner than later, especially if it bothers you. Everyday numerous acne suffers turn to alternative methods to treat their acne. The two main reasons for the growing popularity of such treatments are; people looking for medication with less harmful side effects then tradition acne treatments.

1. Maintain Hygiene: Shower twice a day and keep the body clean and dry. Preferably use an anti bacterial soap or a neem based soap. Wash the back gently and avoid vigorous scrubbing or it may aggravate acne breakout. Keep your back free of sweat by washing it after any kind of physical activity. Always wear properly washed clothes. Maintaining hygiene, in itself is a treatment for back acne.

2. Echinacea and tea tree oil are most commonly used natural treatment for acne. In order to improve your immunity use Echinacea with Oregon grape, as low or poor immunity is also responsible for acne. Tea tree oil is used as an anti septic and anti fungal which help in acne treatment.

3. Drink Your Eight Cups of Water a Day. Not drinking enough fluids causes the skin to dry out and be more prone to acne (among other skin problems.) When you drink enough fluids, you promote elasticity and make your skin sturdier.

4. Aspirin has a form of salicylic acid in it that fights acne, draws the oil out of your skin and gets rid of zits quickly. Make aspirin into a mask by crushing five to 10 pills into powder and transforming them into a paste with a little water. Apply the mask to your face and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse the mask off, and moisturize your face with a good moisturizer formulated for your skin type. If you have sensitive skin and feel that the mask is stinging, wash it off right away.

5. Eat Your Greens. Many dark leafy vegetables and seeds are high in nutrients such as Zinc and vitamin C. These things are natural antioxidants and are very good for the skin.

6. Use a moisturizer every time you take a bath in order to nourish your skin. However, use a water based instead of an oil based body moisturizer as oils in cosmetics may clog the pores, thereby causing blackheads and pimples. Natural oils like lavender oil, tea tree oil or jojoba oil can be used to moisturize the skin as they limit the sebum production by sebaceous glands. These oils act as natural acne cures, but work best when applied in limits and in a diluted form as they might cause allergy to acne prone skin.

7. Go Natural (or At Least Easy on the Make-Up). Too much make-up clogs the pores and brings on the acne which then makes you layer on even more make up. Your skin has to breathe in order to be healthy, so try cutting the make-up regime down or even out of your life completely.
